Hi guys,
I am searching but can't find a sample tool which will get message from queue, read ReplyToQ and ReplyToQmgr MQMD fields and put message on appropriate queue (ie alias q manager queue in this case).
Do you know any? |

Are you talking about a simple 'echo' program? If so then SupportPac MA01 will do that.
Cheers,

No, I am talking about program which will get message from a queue and reply this message, by putting into the queue, to ReplyToQ and ReplyToQmgr.
What is my idea. I want to test how messages are being replied. Is there always need to put message on remote queue when replying messages? Can message be put directly on xmitq? Is there any other way of "dynamic" response? |

That sounds like an echo program to me.
I guess it's a language thing but a program that reads a message and sends the message back to the given ReplyToQ and ReplyToQmgr is an 'echo' program. If you are wanting to send back a different message then where is that message content coming from?
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke

Oh, in this case I am thinking about echo program. So that was language misunderstood
I thought echo program is a tool which reads messages and writes its content to output (for example command line).
Thank you Paul. I can see q tool has -e attribute which is what I want. Thank you once again (I think I will write this sentence many times more )
Cheers
