Hi ,
I have installed MQSI ON Windows2000.
1)
When i created the Configmanager it says Configmgr is already created. But i havent created. Is there a default configMagr created when i install MQSI. When i display mqsilist it displays a configMgr.

2)When i try to logon using control center i give the system name, port and QM it says the JAVA classes are not found on the system, and it asks me to set CLASSPATH. Please let me know how shall i install Java classesand set classpath. Do i have to download JDK from SUN and install????

Thank you
Raj Kumar

Hmmmm. Someone has created a ConfigMgr, because nothing is created for you on the install. Take a look in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\WebSphereMQIntegrator\2. This has the components that have been created.

Which version are you using. V2.1 installs all needed classes and a JRE. You don't need to download anything else.

Or maybe, the installation failed and is all confused

Cheers,

That doesn't change anything to do with the ConfigMgr being created. But the registry key I suggested probably isn't there. But you could check it anyway.

With 2.0.1 you have to have the MQ JMS classes loaded, which means downloading and installing MA88. Which is probably what was missing.

Cheers,
