All,

We are looking for speakers on any product/service that uses IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ & MQSeries) for "MQ Technical Conference v2.0.1.5" (MQTC). The sessions are to be technical in nature and on any subject so long as it relates to MQ.

We offer speakers the conference fee for free and we also pay for your room at Kalahari Resorts. Note: Breakfast and lunch plus snacks & drinks during the breaks are included for all attendees and speakers.

If you are interested please contact me at callforspeakers@mqtechconference.com

MQTC is a premier event that brings together IBM MQ professionals from across the mid-west and the world. MQTC will offer 70 technical sessions and 15 vendor sessions that are designed to enhance the skills of IT professionals who are using IBM’s IBM MQ on AIX, HP-UX, IBM i (OS/400), Linux, Solaris, Windows and z/OS.

MQTC is the largest conference in the world solely dedicated to IBM MQ.

More information on MQTC can be found at http://www.mqtechconference.com

No, no, it's all very serious and we all work very hard. Honest.

Besides, I'm legally banned from wearing a Speedo in public. Or anywhere.

Do you really want to share the pool with hordes of screaming kids? Remember that the (at least it was last year) all the outside pools etc are closed. The only part open is indoors and can get quite noisy.

It is a lot of fun for the kids, if you want to bring your family. My kids had a lot of fun at the water park. But I do agree it is very noisy in there (with the water and the kids). Bring ear plugs.

Kids == Noise (I know, I have 5).

That's why Kalahari puts a bunch of bars in the waterpark area!!

There will be the usual 2 vendor evenings (with drinks & food) plus 2 free format sessions for people to chat. Speaking of vendor pavilion, did anyone notice the English bloke (I believe) with "deer-in-the-headlight" look on his face on the Sponsors page - its pretty funny.

I just heard from someone at Hursley today and they are planning the sessions for MQTC which will include Bluemix and MQ Light. I'm pushing to have both a "programmers" and "admin" sessions rather than a combo session.

He doesn't look British to me. He looks like an Ohioan.

Then should that not be a 'poor-dear-in-the-headlight'?
