I want to trigger a broker process when an event happens on an Oracle DB. I can use the DBInput node. Was asking if there is a way to have Oracle tell me, rater than me poling. Like sending me an MQ message when an insert happens.

Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

The customer looked at AQ and does not want to go in that direction. So I am looking for other options. Would a Wes Service call be doable and easy?

Oracle has a utility called Golden Gate data pump which can send data in file after a DB event if File based integration is O.K with you....


AQ process can invoke web service as well from Oracle side.
