Hi all!
I am using mqsiexportmsgflows command that supported by SupportPAC IC01. The syntax of command is:
BIP1051I: Exports message flows from the Configuration Manager repository to the specified export file.
Syntax:
mqsiexportmsgflows export_xml_file <-m message_flow_label|message_flow_UUID> <-?>
Command Options
'export_xml_file' export file name which will contain message flow XML definitions.
'-m message_flow_label|message_flow_UUID' message flow UUID or label to match for export.
'?' display this help.
I think everything for me when I used this command is well, but I have a small problem. I only want to export a specify message flow. For example I want to export "test4" message flow to a file that have name "test4.xml" in the workspace "HCM.xml" of WMQI Control Center. The work space "HCM.xml" has six message flows: test4, test2, vidu, test, test3, HCM. I do like this:
mqsiexportmsgflows C:\test4.xml -m test4
and I received a notice like this:
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'HCM' (UUID: '19e4c8d6-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'test' (UUID: '41e7b3db-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'vidu' (UUID: '8bc13cd6-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'test4' (UUID: '9cb0fcdb-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'test2' (UUID: 'e51f96bc-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
BIP1052I: Exporting message flow 'test3' (UUID: 'e951eadb-f600-0000-0080-b8a01196b0ee') ...
I think that I have done exported all message flows. What I have to do to export a specify message flow.
Thanks. |

Hi,
that sounds really strange...
It seems as if the "-m"-switch is ignored. If so, all message flows from your config manager would be exported. Is that the case?
If so, pls. check whether the "-m" switch gets lost? did you modify the mqsiexportmsgflows.cmd? Or are you doing some wrapping with another batchfile and forgot to pass through parameters?
Another point to check is, whether the correct config manager is specified in mqsicfgutil.ini config file. |
