Hi,
We have a MQ Client installed on one of our PROD Servers v 7.0.1.3. The client is filling up the windows event logs. Is there a way to disable windows event logging in MQ Client.

Have you looked at the errors being reported?
Are they fixable?
If you share them with us we might be able to guide you. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
Thank you for the response. The issue is related to network instabilities and is a known issue. The JMS Client that is using the WMQ Client has a handler part when this happens. But despite us turning off the logging in C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\bin\jms.configcom.ibm.msg.client.commonservices.log.status=OFF the Windows error logs are being reported. Is there a way to disable this feature completely.
You can either edit the qm.ini or maybe it's the mqs.ini (or the properties in the registry) to ignore specific AMQ numbers. A search through the Knowledge Center for the properties of the qm.ini and mqs.ini should help you figure out what to change.
