Hello,

Could you please help on the topic.. I need to get the time difference between 2 timestamp in hours.

TIMESTAMP1: 20141202121209
TIMESTAMP2: 20150201092302

currently we are using ESQL and wanted a solution in esql and not in java.

so you want to calculate the difference between two timestamps and arrive at a value that represents this interval as an hour value?

Then the ESQL to write that is basic and straight forward.
