Hi,

I think you would need to explain a little more about what you are trying to do before I could confidently answer. What do you mean by 'Mobile App' ? I think this would probably be better discussed in private since it sounds quite specific. You are welcome to send a note to support@mqgem.com if you like.

Regards,

Paul.

Now is also a good time to be making feature requests for the following version. I am always interested to hear your suggestions.

Hi Muhsan12,

Welcome to the forum. I didn't understand your post - it was just a repeat of part of my initial append. Did you have a new feature request?

Cheers,
Paul.

@Paul, I'll be keeping an eye on this new joiner because he/she seems to be employing the usual spammer trick of making a seemingly innocuous, or irrelevant post, lying low for a few days, then flooding the board with spam.

@Muhsan12, if I'm wrong I apologise, but your initial post very much fits the profile.

Hi Paul,

wouldn't it be good if you add an option on a Synchronise... screen which would save prepared mqsc definitions in a text file, per each qmgr (A and B). These text files should be editable (optionally from the outside with an external text editor), and schedulable for later execution. The point is that in less than perfect systems there are some potential sources of unportability which sometimes require search and replace actions on prepared definitions when syncing between envrionments or on similar occasions. And of course, if possible, if you implement scheduler for such prepared mqsc files within MO71, that would be even better.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see how there may be times when such an option would be useful. Sadly it is not entirely trivial since the synchronise option is done using PCF messages and so would need converting to MQSC in order to save to a file. However, is does seem fairly doable. I'll add it to the list.

Cheers,
Paul.

Hi, I think that mqsc is not a strong requirement here (or text file as such). But a good editability and schedulability are, and it would be optimal if I could do everything by using MO71 only. I mean, whatever is produced, should be executable from within MO71.

Hi again, I keep thinking about this feature, next thing that I would propose is to add new icon to reflect new result of comparison of definitions, for example, "synchronized but still different" (due to changes introduced in sync scripts), etc, ... you got the picture.
