Hi All,
I am trying to enable SSL on channels between queue managers (MQ5.3) on HP (RCVR Channel) & SUN (SDR Channel) using "Creating a self-signed personal certificate" as per specified in Security manual. I am able to succesfully export from HP & import in to Sun's Queue Manager. But when I am starting the channel getting error saying certificate is not in store & no fdl or error file is generated on any of the queue manager.
I can't go fo CA certificates and certificate server at present.
If any one tried this before please suggest appropriate changes.
hmm, looks like you have not given read permissions for the repository key files.
Make sure your key files are in
/var/mqm/qmgrs/qm_name/ssl and the group has read permission for them.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have solved this issue. The problem is not with /var/mqm/qmgrs/qm_name/ssl permission it was allright. Actualy self signed certificates are not acceptable by Channels. Only Signed cerificates work.
Regards,
