I am developing on WINXP WMBB7. My company has a policy to block MMC and hence event viewer will not come up. My option now is debug or trace to look at any exception. I was wondering if any one knows a way to get MB to write to files other than event viewer or any thing that I can ask my Windows Admin to do just for the developer community ? |

In an ideal world the debugger would decode the exception list and display the error message text for you.
Personally, I use the debugger for most things, and take a user trace when I need more details. I have a three Windows batch files that I use to start, stop and display the user trace. It makes it fairly painless. _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too. |
