I'm trying to use MQExplorer to connect to a remote QMGR using the "Connect using intermediate Queue Manager" option.
This works fine, however, I have a TEST and a PROD environment which each host a qmgr by the same name. I can only add a qmgr using either the TEST intermediate QMGR or the PROD intermediate QMGR, but not both without getting a error indicating that the QMGR is already added.
Is there a way I can add both these QMGRs using the intermediate method to MQ Explorer.
MQExplorer ----> Intermediate(QMGRA) ----> Remote(QMGRC)
MQExplorer ----> Intermediate(QMGRB) ----> Remote(QMGRC)
Each Intermediate QMGR currently has connections to its Remote QMGR
MQExplorer just doesn't allow me to have two connections to QMGRC, even though they are different.
Any way around this? |

You are cruising for a bruising. I think the best you can do is use two different workspaces. It is best that all QmgrNames in your network be unique. |

I hear ya, but sometimes you need to deal with the hand that was given to ya!
Alternate workspace may do the trick. Thanks for that thought. |

Oddly enough even though I set my preferences to prompt me for the workspace, it sure isn't on start up and I can't find a way to do it like WMBT. |
