i have one z/OS queue manager running and I notice that two of their 10 pageset have Persistent data pages in use but when i performed a display of all queues curdepth, there is no queue with a notably amount of persistent messages.
this is the display usage for this queue manager:

I'm wondering what could have been happened here, because it supposed to that pageset holding messages of the queues define in the storage class associate with this pageset. how can i purge or delete this persistent data pages if i don't see persistent messages in the queues?

Why are you interested in persistent pages in page datasets? MQ is supposed to manage these datasets internally and MQ admins should not have to pay much attention. _________________ Glenn
