All,
we are using IIB9 on Linux.
We have a VCS cluster and I ma trying to stop a message flow under the referenced Library using the below command from the bin folder.
running as mqm only.
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp -k AppName –y LibName -m MF.msgflow
BIP1033E: Invalid parameters.
The following flag(s) are invalid, missing, or cannot be used together: 'null –y LibName'.
Reissue the command specifying valid options and flags.
BIP1025I: Stops message flows.
Syntax:
mqsistopmsgflow brokerSpec (-g | -e egName) [[(-k applicationName | -z)] [-y libraryName] (-m flowName | -j)] [-w timeoutSecs] [-v traceFileName] [-f forceMode]
*******************
As per the above error cannot go together applciaiton and Librabry ?
But I want to stop the flow under the referenced library only.
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp –y LibName -m MF.msgflow
This is also not working. Am I missing anything here ?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks |

I have tried other combinations as well, but still same response.
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp -k AppName –y LibName -m MF
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp -k AppName -m MF
Did not find the MF message flow.
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp –y LibName -m MF
The following flag(s) are invalid, missing, or cannot be used together: 'null –y LibName'.

The fun part is the same command is working today without any problems.
mqsistopmsgflow BROKER -e ExecGrp -k AppName –y LibName -m MF.msgflow
Because yesterday is 09/02 and today is 09/03/ is the only difference I observe for this command !!!

That comment about "null" makes me suspicious that you had a bad character in the command line, somehow. A copy/paste error maybe.
That would explain why it worked today - no bad character. |
