Why would an MQOutput node want or need to know you happen to have a QM alias in your topology?

If you are putting a message with an MQOutput node, and you use aliasing (including queue manager aliaising) in your MQ topology, good for you. These concepts are not linked. You put a message with an MQOutput node. It will be moved by the queue manager to where it's addressed to in accordance with the rules concerning name resolution that apply to all messages irrespective of where they originated from. If that means it traverses a queue manager alias, then it traverses an alias.
