Hi All,
I could not map a reference variable to an existing child in OutputRoot.
See the code:
Code: |
SET OutputRoot.XMLNSC.Header.Line.Value = rHeader.Line.Value; |
(rHeader.Line.Value reefers to InputRoot)
rHeader.Line.Value has a character value and it could not be mapped to OutputRoot. But If the reference variable is stored into a normal variable, mapping is successful.
One more thing I could find here is that, if the target child in OutputRoot is not already existing, reference variable is successfully copied to the OutputRoot.
Can anyone figure out the issue here?
I am not sure whether my query is clear, as I am not so proficient with this technology.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks,

After changing / moving a reference variable you need to verify that it is still valid (i.e. pointing to where you thought it is) by checking the LASTMOVE statement...
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
The reference variable has the correct value on debug. Before and after assigning value to OutputRoot. But it is not getting mapped. |

Take a usertrace and look at the output. If you can't make progress in solving it please post just the relevant part of the trace here enclosed with [C O D E] tags (remove the spaces)

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
