Hi
There is a situation.
After the IB9 installation complete in RedHat 6.
I would like to configure a new QManager, but there is no IBExplorer icon to load. The IBExplorer folder just only have eclipse plugins without launch program.
Is there any problem like me? or do i miss some fixpack?

Do you have the MQExplorer loaded in the box? How do you start the MQ Explorer? IIB Explorer is on top of MQ Explorer
Did you set up your IIB environment (see corresponding task in infocenter) to also set the corresponding MQ environment? Do you have a setmqenv part of the IIB user's profile?
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

in your unix shell, enter this, changing the path to your own MQ install, note that this starts with a period and a space, this is important.
". /opt/mqm/bin/setmqenv -s"
Then try strmqcfg again. |

When you installed WMQ as a prerequisite to IIB did you also install WMQ Explorer? If you did not, this is your next step. After that uninstall and reinstall IIB Explorer. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

strmqcfg could not be found in my linux!!!
And I try to create a q manager , there is a error notice return.
AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred.
There is no more message to let me find where or what is wrong. |

So you didn't install MQExplorer.
So there's no strmqcfg. |

You should plan on reinstalling IIBExplorer after you install MQExplorer. |
