All,
Wanted to see if it is possible to rename the Execution Group in Broker which was created already. I dont see any MQSI command to serve this request. Is it anyway possible? _________________ Regards

It certainly used to be possible from MBX, but I don't recommend it for various reasons. I've found it to be safer to delete and recreate. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. There's no supported way to do this that I'm aware of; certainly no mqsi command.
I'd concur with my worthy associate; delete the EG, recreate the EG and redeploy all the code out of your repository via the automated process.
This "renaming" scenario is of course another good reason to have a repository of code and an automated process to control deployment. This activity is much harder if you have to scratch around to identify what code's in Prod. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The EG rename option is still there in MBX and IBX.
But if you try it - various things can break such as the security - since the MQ profiles which control access are not renamed. Nor are any directory paths that refer directly to the EG name such as /var/mqsi/config<brokername>/<EGname> _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it.
