anyone has any idea why this returns error:
gsk8capicmd -cert -list -db IIB9KeyStore -pw IIB9
CTGSK3013W "-db" is not a valid action for this object.

how can I list certificates?

Your db really has no extension? (the -db expects an argument in the form of path/storename.extension)...
And did you check if gsk8capicmd would handle jks stores?
What does gsk8capicmd -cert -list -? say??

Have fun

There is extension; I just removed it on posting.
This db was build with gsk8capicmd
Manual shows the same format as I posted, but it does not work; I am on WIN7

It's possible that the user running gsk8capicmd doesn't have sufficient privileges on the keystore, and it's throwing a misleading error message.

Are you pasting the command from WordPad or similar into a DOS window? If so it's not unusual for the - (hyphen) character to be interpreted as an n-dash or m-dash character, which look like a hyphen but aren't.
