What do you mean by 'Roadmap'? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Fixpacks are cumulative. Just use the latest. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

Ask IBM either via your Sales Rep or via a PMR.
There was a similar diagram shown last week at Hursley but that was for V8/V9 and V.Next. I would be very surprised if there were any major implementation of functionality in V8.0.0.x after 8.0.0.2. They would be IMHO bug fix releases. These would be in V9 and after.
IMHO, this move towards an annual release on major versions is a backward step. Moving a production system to a new FixPAck is a whole lot easier than to a new major version. I know of several sites that simply won't do that and will skip one or even two versions at a go unless there is a compelling business reason to upgrade.
At one site, upgrading to a fixpack means just a planned switch (of production) over to the other node, upgrade that and move back etc. A major release needs much longer downtime (despite the changes IBM have made to allow multiple versions) and can cause major disruptions to a system that needs to run 24/7/52. We get 2 hours planned downtime a twice a year. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

I have to agree.
WMB (IIB) is racing ahead of MQ on new versions (presumably to attempt to appeal to new market segments) and the operational needs of larger enterprises are not really being listened to as much as before (although IBM are still the best at that).
The lack of IBX support for V10 will mean a mixture of different admin interfaces for years to come (even though the underlying CMPAPI is still there). _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it.
