Hi all,

i need to generate a PDF file as part of a message flow.
The PDF file is build with information received in web service.

Message Flow Diagram:

Soap Input ---> read XML --> write XML to db --> generate PDF --> Soap Reply

I'm aware this requirement (generate pdf in broker) has been discussed here in forum, i've done some investigation prior to this post , but found posts related to WMB v6x and v7x

Right now i'm using WMB 8.0.0.3 running on windows 2008 R2, the goal of this post is to understand if evolution from WMB v6.x / v7.x to WMB v8.x has provided new tools/resources in WMB/Toolkit to "deal" with PDF file generation.

I've searched throughout WMB v8.x infocenter and found no references to PDF file generation, so, if evolution to WMB 8.x provided no tools for pdf generation, what are the options ?

- Java Lib to generated PDF ( itext or similar)
- PDF "virtual printer" ( pdf creator or similar)
- Other ??

any others options to generate PDF in WBM v8.0 ?

The options haven't changed.

You need to use 3rd party code to do this.
