We have a JMS application (along with WAS)
Do we need to install seperate MQ Client in order to connect to remote Queue Manager on another server ?
Or
Existing MQ JMS classes can be used to connect to the Queue Manager ? |

The WAS supplied MQ client is enough. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

hi Zpat,
Thanks for your swift reply.
I am new to WAS/JMS devlopment.
How can I check if MQ CLient with WAS is present already?
It will be great if you please let me know what componant name of "WAS supplied MQ client"(for Windows & Linux :: Which presence means the MQ Client is installed along with WAS)
So that I can then check & confirm if these components are present on WAS server & no need for seperate MQ client installations.
I tried to google but not got close replys.
Thanks & Regards,
Mangesh |

Ask whoever installed WAS if the MQ Client is present, and if they say no ask what possessed them to remove it and how (from a technological standpoint) they managed it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
