Hello everyone:
Using the following message broker toolkit:
Version: 7.0.0.5
Build id: 7.0.0.5-20120919_1610
I'm deploying a BAR file and I don't receive any errors. However, the changes are not taking effect.
Here is what I've done:
1) Checked broker event viewer to see if there were any errors in my flow - no errors.
2) Restarted toolkit, cleaned project, redeployed.
3) Delete BAR file and recreated it. Redeployed - no luck.
4) Tried a different workspace, (imported project to new workspace)
5) Rebooted broker.
Any suggestions?

If the changes are not taking effect are you sure that you are not just redeploying the same old code?
What is the setting on your toolkit for build?
May be you need to do a manual build before updating the bar file...

I had Build automatically, but took that off and did a manual build before I redeployed.
My bar file resource item timestamps are updating, leading me to believe the files are getting updated when I build and deploy. |

remove from the eg before you deploy.
Stop the eg.
Verify eg is stopped
start eg.
verify eg is empty
deploy to eg.
The assumption here is that the flow is deployed to a single eg only...
If it is deployed somewhere else you will have to update there as well ...

| Get a mqsilist for the EG and it will tell you the deployment time of each artifcat. |

Timestamps of items in the EG are updating.
Deleted all resources, the EG and recreated it - no luck.
Even created another EG under a new name, no luck.
Also restored all files from a working backup and that didn't seem to solve it.
The only thing that changed on my PC was I received a bunch of Microsoft Updates - wouldn't think that could impact it - but who knows.
I'm stumped. |

SOLVED
Not sure what was wrong, but I took an older copy of my project files and re-added the change to the message set that I was originally trying to do.
I also did do "restore defaults" under build options in the toolkit.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
