Untick the box in the FTP tabe on the file input node that says "Remote Transfer"

It's possible to either read a file on a remote server via ftp or read a file on the local server with the file input node. If you want to read a file on a server other than the local one without using ftp then you need to mount the remote file system locally via SAN, URN or black magic at the OS level so the file input node thinks it's local. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

OK, but what does it mean "Normal server"? From this point of view, FTP is abnormal?
Perhaps is this an SMB (Windows share / Samba) connection? In case of that you can mount a remote share on almost every message broker platform (Window, Unix, Linux) and you can use the mount point as a local FileInput path. |
