Hello,
The concept of application triggering is not working as expected.
There is a local queue defined and associated with an initiation queue and with a process.
This is process has an applic ID where a shell scripts path is defined in this applic ID.
We have started the trigger monitor program with a nohup on this initiation queue.
As per the business requirement if a messages comes to the local queue, the shell script needs to be executed which is associated in the applic ID in the process definition.
Here the problem is the script is not executing even the message is coming to the local queue. (The local queue get property is enable).
Could you any one guess what might be the reason ?

Can you show us your object definitions? There might be some problem with them
Please include the trigger monitor service definition. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

As well as the object definitions it would be useful to see the output of the trigger program. It's possible that you are being triggered but the command to start the application is failing.
The most likely cause though is that the trigger conditions are not met, and there are quite a few of them, but most are fairly logical. For example, when using trigger first that the current queue depth is already non-zero. Or when using trigger depth that the application forgot to re-enable triggering.
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke
