HI to All,
I had IIB9 toolkit installed and running for long time on WIN7 Ultimate SP1 with no issues.
Recently I configured toolkit to include libraries and plugins for iPAS (like PDK and Python), Installed new JAVA and changed JAVA_HOME. Trying to restart toolkit but it does not come up any more.
After many attempt to recover changes and reboot, I gave up, uninstalled toolkit thinking reboot + fresh install will be able to recover.
Here are my new settings:
JAVA_HOME: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25
CLASSPATH: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar
PATH: C:\Python33\;C:\Program Files\ibm\gsk8\lib64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\ldap\V6.3\lib64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib64;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\10.0\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\syswow64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%ANT_HOME%\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Mobility Client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25\jre\bin\client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Rational\common

So toolkit re-installed fine but it does not start. Here is the log from
C:\Users\myusername\.eclipse\ibm.integration.toolkit_9.0.0_25145164\configuration\ 1399642967823.log
Can anyone please see what is still pending or leftover from previous install. Thanks.

Who told you to update Java?
This (IMHO) is more trouble than it is worth. If I need a more recent version on my system, I install it and the Eclipse IDE separately from the Broker one.

This is what my toolkit says is the java jre:
Quote:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90\jdk

so this is what you may need to plug in as Java_home...

java_home to C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90\jdk
did not make any difference; same err.

what needs to be changed to recover this ii9 toolkit?

and

how can I start 2 eclipse's (1 fro IIB9 and 1 for iPAS PDK) pointing to 2 java versions?

you're going about it the wrong way.
Either you need 2 installations of eclipse or...
if you can start it correctly, from within eclipse, set up in the preferences multiple versions of java and choose / check the JRE you want to use in this session of eclipse for compiling your java projects...

The jvm path for startup is specified in the eclipse.ini file

Sorry, but its not coming up yet.
I have the iPAS PDK eclipse up and running fine. This is independent install.

So I have 2 independent install locations: 1 for iPAS PDK and 1 for IIB9

Then reinstall IIB9 toolkit when these are the settings:
ANT_HOME=C:\Ant\apache-ant-1.9.2
JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25
CLASSPATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar

PATH=C:\Python33\;C:\Program Files\ibm\gsk8\lib64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\ldap\V6.3\lib64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib64;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\10.0\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\syswow64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%ANT_HOME%\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Mobility Client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25\jre\bin\client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\client;C:\Program Files (x86)\Rational\common

This is eclipse.ini for IIB9:
-vm
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90\jdk\jre\bin
-startup
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.1.1.R36x_v20101122_1400.jar
-install
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90
--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.1.2.R36x_v20101222
-vmargs
-Xquickstart
-Xms40m
-Xmx1024m
-Xmnx64m
-Xgcpolicy:gencon
-Xscmx96m
-Xshareclasses:name=IBMSDP_%u
-Xnolinenumbers
-XX:MaxPermSize=256M
-Xmaxf0.1
-Xminf0.05
-Xverify:none

I try running on (START->IBM TOOLKIT....) "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90\launcher.bat" and click on (directly on C drive) Eclipse but stil same error.

Could be that your classpath or path variables aren't kosher.

First tackle the path variables. Start with as clean a path as you can and remove all references to PDK. Then check your classpath and do the same.

After that you may try again...

That is you may have to set up a batch program to start the correct environment for each of your eclipses to run in.!
