Hello,

I have a standalone box RedHat and I'm running 2QMs, due to a requirement, we need (if possible) to have a dedicated IP per QM, meaning we would have the server IP plus IP for QM1 and another IP for QM2, 3 IPs in total.

Is it possible to force each QM to go out thru it's own IP and not thru the IP of the server. The reason behind is we have to do a few NAT and we need to separate the traffic of each QM.

I'm so not an expert at MQ, so let me know if this is confusing and needs to more explanation.

Thanks for the help!
Diego

Look at the meaning of the "IP address" field on the listener...

And for outbound connections, review the LOCLADDR attribute of outbound MQ channels.

Peter,

Remind me how that works for automatic cluster sender channels?

I think it does not unless you use an auto channel exit thing.

You are right you need a CHAD exit for that.
