Surely this BB software allows disabling of PMs at the user level, by the user (if enabled at the global level)?
I think it's time we were treated as adults once again
But disable PMs for posters with less than say 50 posts - that will stop spammers. Again this sort of thing is possible in most BB software. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. Hi - after I pointed out to you helpfully that PMs are disabled so you reposted with your gmail address it would be nice if you could do me the courtesy of a reply to the mail I sent you.
But then, it is often best to find out where people stand and act early on in a relationship and from this I am well informed. |

Apparently not.

If that's an offer to take over administration of the forum, I'll pass it on to the relevant authorities.....
My personal view - if I get a PM it should be from someone offering to buy me a drink. All technical questions should be posted in public for the benefit of all. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
