hi
i am in an Active Directory environment. Whenever I restart my server, the Queue manager will not start automatically. I always need to start it manually. When i check the log, it says
... - Process(1564.1) User(mquser) Program(amqzfuma.exe)
Host(WIN-1234) Installation(Installation1)
VRMF(7.5.0.3) QMgr(MYQMGR)
AMQ8077: Entity 'mquser@mydomain' has insufficient authority to access object
'MYQMGR'.
EXPLANATION:
The specified entity is not authorized to access the required object. The
following requested permissions are unauthorized: connect/system
ACTION:
Ensure that the correct level of authority has been set for this entity against
the required object, or ensure that the entity is a member of a privileged
group.
....
----- amqzfubn.c : 515 --------------------------------------------------------
3/6/2014 13:59:24 - Process(1524.1) User(mquser) Program(amqzxma0.exe)
Host(WIN-1234) Installation(Installation1)
VRMF(7.5.0.3) QMgr(MYQMGR)
AMQ5525: The WebSphere MQ Object Authority Manager has failed.
EXPLANATION:
The Object Authority Manager has failed to complete an MQ request.
ACTION:
Check the queue manager error logs for messages explaining the failure and try
to correct the problem accordingly.
=======================================
The question is, my "mquser" is already a member of Domain Admins and domain mqm group.
Can anyone assist to tell me why the errors still says mquser has no authority on "amqzfuma.exe" ?
thanks |

For the benefit of future readers, would you care to share your solution? Is this post perhaps related to THIS ONE? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Can you please post the solution to this problem. We are facing similar issue. Our qmgr is running under a service account (which is a domain account and is part of local mqm group of server). The technician is logging with his id (which is also in same domain) and is part of local mqm group of server. The technicain is able to do dspmq but at runmqsc he gets this error "The specified entity is not authorized to access the required object. The following requested permissions are unauthorized: connect/system" |
