We have a Windows XP service Pack 3, Version 8.3.0.3 of WTX, and the Message Broker toolkit is Build id: 7.0.0.2-IFix-20110310_1127.

When we open up the toolkit we have the Transformation Extender prespective and the WTXMap node in the palette. We installed Integration Servers last.

When we try and use the WTXMap node on a message flow we get this error:

Subflow DTXPlugIn cannot be located

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

So, you see that message during runtime of the flow?

Or while trying to deploy it?

Or while trying to build it in Toolkit?

If the answer to either of the first two questions is "yes", then you don't have the DTX runtime properly registered to the broker.

If the answer to the third one is "yes", then you don't have the WTX stuff properly integrated into Toolkit.

We get this error after we add the wtxMap node to the flow and save it. We don't have broker installed yet so we are not even that far. We have uninstalled everything and reinstalled before and still get this error.

Your problem is different, due to the toolkit version being different. You don't say what you have tried, what the errors are, or if you have opened a PMR.

Don't reopen old posts, especially when they are not the same as yours.

You need to upgrade your toolkit to at least 7.0.0.4. What is the "effective level" of your runtime? Use mqsireportbroker to find out.

Your problem is different,

No, it's not.

It's an installation problem, flat out.

Yes, but thats where the similarity ends. There is a world of difference between .1 and .2. And the latest poster doesn't indicate any details. So he or she should create a new post and not reopen an old one. If needed, the new post could reference the old one by link.

Like discussed here?

So you are unable to develop flows using WTX, but you can still deploy them? I don't get it.

You need to change your installation procedures

First install the full broker stack, patch to requested level.

Last install WTX.

Have fun

Are you sure you have the right version and your media is not corrupt?

That's not what you said before.

Is it:

7.0.0.1->7.0.0.6->8.3.0.4

Or

7.0.0.1->8.3.0.4->7.0.0.6

The first is correct, the second is not
