Hi, All

We are using mqipt to connect to our client and we have setup two different network for the connection. My question is, is it possible for mqipt to route connections on two different networks.

Our MQ ---->(MQIPT Port 1414) ----HK Network---> Client MQ
Out MQ ---->(MQIPT Port 1414) ----KR Network---> Client MQ

So basically, I'm thinking of having mqipt decide which network is active. The primary network will be the HK and the secondary network is KR. Our MQ will connect to the MQIPT server via port 1414 and MQIPT will route the connection to HK first and if its not available then MQIPT will route the request to KR. Is this possible for MQIPT.

Looking to implement this in MQIPT but if I can't implement this in MQIPT then I could implement this via connname on the channel level.

MQIPT(1414),MQIPT(1415)

Our MQ ---->(MQIPT Port 1414) ----HK Network---> Client MQ
Out MQ ---->(MQIPT Port 1415) ----KR Network---> Client MQ

MQ Version: 7.1.0.1
MQIPT: 2.0

It's been a while since I used MQIPT, but maybe you can write a routing exit to decide which network connection to use? MQIPT comes with some sample exits.

I thought the latest version would cater for MI qmgr connections...
