Sounds like a recipe for very low throughput. What's the underlying requirement?

- Construct a monitoring profile for each flow
- Apply the relevant monitoring profile to the matching flow
- Enable event monitoring for each flow
- Ensure whatever is collecting the event messages can handle the blizzard of messages you're going to get from any reasonably sized system with any reasonable throughput
- Ensure whatever is processing the event messages can adequately shovel through the snowdrift of data it will rapidly be faced with
- Prepare for every single flow customer to complain throughput has dropped off to an unacceptable level
- Realise that this is a bad idea, which sounds like it's more a management sound bite than any real business requirement.

Many of these tasks can be scripted. It's still a really bad idea, and an odd thing to do. I likewise would be interested to know what requirement this meets.

In my experience, they're usually the same. The ubiquitous "We need more management information!" is being accepted as gospel across the board. Enter managers who've heard some of the technical terminology of the business and decree "Sounds good! Let's use that!". Grumbling systems managers and developers exit stage right.
