I am receiving a sql error - exhausted result set..

Code:

ResultSet rs, rs1 = null;
Connection conn = getJDBCType4Connection("DB",
JDBC_TransactionType.MB_TRANSACTION_AUTO);
rs = stmt1.executeQuery("")

Code:

rsult= rs.getString(0); or rsult= rs.getString(1) or rsult= rs.getString("column")

anything here results in this error.

Please help.

Can't really tell from your code. And you should really post your exceptions. But it looks like you're trying to get data from an empty result set.

You are right. I was trying to access the values without performing rs.next() and then accessing the values in the ResultSet. Doing this rectified this issue.
