Hi All,

I am working on WMB 7.0.0.4. I have a scenario where I have to update a table in oracle database which has a composite primary key. When I am trying to update the update fails. This seems to be Message Broker DataDirect technologies Oracle Wire Protocol driver issue which we use while creating DSN. The driver version I have is 6.00.00.246. The same update succeeds when I tried updating using my colleagues machine whio has a higher verison of driver.

Can anyone please suggest how can I update this Data Direct driver? Where do I get the installables from? Or do you think the update issue is because of something else other than the driver issue?

Please suggest.

What version of WMB does your colleague have ?

It's the same as what I have. i.e. WMB 7.0.0.4. The only difference we could make out was the driver version is different (which might be causing the issue). This might be b'cos the installables which he has used while installing might be different.

So can we just update the driver in any way? (Just to try and make sure it is the driver issue)

Hi,

You have not mentioned about the Operating system. Both of you are using same version of Message Broker from same OS?

Verify DSN properties and similarity amongst two of them.

Its unlikely that in MB 7 people are using different version of data direct driver because those drivers come along with Message broker installation.
However you need to search which version of DataDirect driver is supported by WMB 7.0.0.4

WMB 8.0.0.2 ships with driver versions 06.00.0277 and 07.01.0090
