Hi,
The folder qmgrs under /var/mqm is accidently deleted by one of my newly joined team member.
The back up is not taken and the logging type is circular.
Please suggest ways to restore the qmgr.
Thanks,

Try this:
Code: |
crtmqm <queue manager name |
I mean seriously; the qmgrs folder is deleted, you have no backup and you're asking how to restore it?
I know WMQ is magic but you can't get your previous configuration out of thin air. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

You've deleted the queue manager's data, and you have no back up.
What would you do if the data which had been deleted was a database or some app data? How would you "restore" that with no back up and/or copy.
This is another good reason why you should script the creation of your queue managers. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

And take regular backups of the object definition with the dmpmqcfg utility and/or the MS03 Support pack. _________________ Peter Potkay
