| Can mq client 7.5 connect to mq 6.x qmgr? getting 2009, |

| do any one got chance to connect to mq 7.5 client to mq v6 qmgr? I am wondering whether there is a an issue in connecting mq7.5 client to mq 6 qmgr? We are getting 2009 while connecting to mq6 qmgr from mq client 7.5. It is not due to the chlauth as we have disabled it. |

Jeevan, you're not making much sense...
If you have disabled channel auth, you obviously were on a server with a version greater then 7.0
Have you played with the provider version in the 7 client?
Did telnet to the mq port give you a different result?

New MQ Clients can connect to old MQ servers without issue.
I have an MQ 7.5.0.2 client connected to a couple MQ 6.0.2.1* Queue Managers - no problemo.

Well the document clearly states at the bottom:

Look at the Version attribute you can set in the client. (Thinking here about JMS ConnectionFactoryFactory...)
