Hi

We have MQ 5.3 installed on windows 2003, when the flows uses oracle92 everything goes fine.
But when want to connect to an oracle instance using oracle 11g client we get this error:

( BROKER1.Test ) Database error: ODBC return code '-1'.

then this

( BROKER1.Test ) Database error: SQL State 'IM003'; Native Error Code '160'; Error Text 'Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114 (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1).'.

In ODBC test connection there is no problem also and the connection test is succeed!.

WMQ 5.3 (on Windows) went out of support a really long time ago. I suspect that you are using a really old version of Broker as well but still it is Christmas so I'll be gentle on you regarding unsupportded versions and upgrades.

The key point is that are you really, really sure that your version of Broker actually supports Oracle 11G as a database?

The IBM site will help you out here.
If your broker version is less than 6.1.0.11 then I suspect that you will be out of luck regarding connecting your broker to Oracle.

Finally, this post should really be in the Broker Forum as it has nothing directly to do with MQ

I am doing something not right, thats im sure about, because in the other server its works fine! same configuration.
