Hello everybody,

I am trying to do a simple update with GDM and i get the following exception:

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soapenv:Body><soapenv:Fault><faultcode>soapenv:Server</faultcode><faultstring>BIP3113E: Exception detected in message flow DataOpsIn.DataOpsInDispatcher.SOAP Input (broker MyLocalBroker) </faultstring><detail><Text>BIP2230E: Error detected whilst processing a message in node 'DataOpsIn/UpsertCustomerSubflow.Mapping'.
The message broker detected an error whilst processing a message in node 'DataOpsIn/UpsertCustomerSubflow.Mapping'. An exception has been thrown to cut short the processing of the message.

The processing of the map has failed.
Review and resolve the problems indicated in the message from the map processing. : MbErrorHandler.java: 154: evaluate: :
BIP3949E: An error occurred during the processing of a message. The error message is ''java.lang.Exception: Too few parameters for database call, ensure all database function parameters or columns have input elements that are present in the input instance

An error occurred during message processing. Additional diagnostic information might be written to the user trace.
Inspect the diagnostic information, and check the user trace for further information. : MbErrorHandler.java: 318: throwableToMbException: : </Text></detail></soapenv:Fault></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>

I am running MB 8.0.0.1 on windows 7. DB is oracle 11g r2.

I tried it also against a DB2 9.7and got the same exception.
But when i do the update with hardcoded where clause and I assign values to be updated, then id works as supposed. I assume the problem is when any input info is used for the update. The transformation is a simple move(string from input object to string DB column).

Thanks in advance

It seems you have too few parameters in your database call. Update to 8.0.0.2 on both your toolkit and runtime.

Hi 5koff,

Could you please post what the resolution was? I am facing the same issue on version 8.0.02 runtime/toolkit.

regards,

I think having a read of the following Info Center Topic could be relevant when encountering an issue of this nature:

"Behavior when modifying database column values from optional source elements"
