The conference was great!

I had big fun, and I hope people found my sessions useful and entertaining - even if only as examples of the many ways that demonstrations can fail.

That BSOD was particularly well timed.

All,

I just finished the paperwork for next year's conference (MQTC v2.0.1.4) at Kalahari. It will be held on September 29 to October 1, 2014 (Monday to Wednesday again - same rooms). So mark it in your calendar!!

Since everyone is pretty busy for the next 6 weeks or so, I'll do the "official" launch of MQTC v2.0.1.4 in the middle of January.

Regards,

Hi Roger, I appreciate your moving the conference to make it more convenient for EMEA people and less North-American centric, but I'm afraid the Kalahari whilst being on a European time zone is actually in the Southern hemisphere.

Could I suggest perhaps a North African (Saharan) desert location like Morroco or Tunisia?

The Kalahari is a resort in one of the great lakes in the USA. PErhaps your wires have gotten a little crossed?

I'm planning on going over the pond next September for the conference.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Your presence will be welcomed in the MQSeries.net survivors self help group meetings (also known as the shifty looking crowd in the corner of the bar).

And maybe you too could make a lady swoon...

I'm sorry to totally disappoint you but it will be held at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio USA (between Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio).

Tell your boss that the conference price is dirt cheap, hence, you can use the saving to pay for the airfare.

These dates work much better for me, so *might* be there in 2014!
