I lost my complete workspace in MQ Explorer 7.5 (why the ... is the option Switch Workspace removed at all in 7.5 ??? but that's an other question)
After a reboot, all is gone, I did get a blank workspace again. (normal reboot, normal closure of MQ Explorer)
If I create new assets in this empty workspace I find it back at below location
H:\IBM\WebSphereMQ\workspace
Not sure, but most likely it has used below settings.
%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\IBM\WebSphereMQ\workspace
however, no sign of my 79 queue managers that where setup in it ! |

Ok, it was not a "normal boot", it was a "Let's install new software and change lot's of settings to make the user nuts !"

It is not only Windows that get the Microsoft treatment. MS Office for MAC spreads itself all over the HDD when normal OSX Apps are nice and neat.
IT took me well over an hour to remove every trace of it from my MacBook because the license binds itself to the HDD serial number. HDD goes bad? total removel needed before you can re-install it.
Just who decided these things inside fortress Redmond? They aren't living in the real world and that's for sure. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
