Hi all,

I've just now installed the MQ 7.1.3 version in Windows 7. I'm able to execute all the basic commands in the command prompt like "Dspmqver, crtmqm, strmqm" etc., in the command prompt. But having problem with the "dspmq" cmd.

After executing this command in cmd prompt (as an administrator) im getting "dspmq is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

Please help me! I got a message at the time of installation as "GSkit has stopped executing...." Do we have any link to this gskit to the command "dspmq" ?

The dspmq command will display all queue managers that have been created on a server. If the command cannot be found it's most likely because you have only installed the WMQ Client.

As regards your issue with GSKit, sorry, but you have provided insufficient information for any attempt at fault diagnosis.

If it was just client then I doubt crtmqm etc would be available.

What happens if you change the command prompt to the directory dspmq is installed in, will it work from there, or if you call its full path?

Open a command prompt window and in that same window show us the output where crtmqm works but dsmpq does not.

Did you reboot after the install? This is Windoze;always reboot after any install or upgrade before taking any problem to seriously.
