We are currently running on broker version z/os v6.1.0.9(will be upgraded to version 8 linux early next year).
z/os MQ is upgraded to v 7.1.

A pub/sub service has come up as part of a project.

From midrange the Consumer is publishing to a topic and the subscription is set up as remote subscription on our side as part of client design.

When tested the request is not reaching the inbound queue from our side.
The request messages seems to be reaching the QM from our side and no trace after that.

MQ QMGR PSMODE attribute to ENABLED as part of debugging.

Not sure if any one has issues with this set up and any recommendations.
Client is opposing local subscriptions to send requets to remote queue.

Any options available in WMB V6 nodes to handle this?

Can you be explicit about what objects you've configured to define the topic and the subscription?

• Consumer clustered topic -TOPIC1 - is visible in the Provider(QM10) pub/sub cluster and available for a remote subscriber on the mainframe to subscribe to.
• Test messages published to the topic TOPIC1 on Consumer are indeed delivered to QM10 based on message count observed on the channel to QM10.
• From the point where the messages are delivered to QM10, there is no evidence of where the message went - indicating that the subscriber is not valid or not able to receive the messages.

Looking at WMB 6.1.0.9 are you using WMB pub/sub or have you already switched to WMQ pub/sub?

Stop the channel.

Publish a message.

Is there a message on the transmission queue?

Stop the consumer.

Start the channel.

Is there a message on the queue that has been subscribed?

Until you've done that, you haven't done any troubleshooting.
