Hi,
Maybe one of you has already thought about these things :
I'm trying to decide which one to use, the internal JMS provider or the embedded mq provider in WSAD.
My parameters are :
1) can i view the messages in the queues easily ? if a programmer adds a message to a queue, can i :
- in the embedded - use the mq explorer to view the queue contents
- in the internal - write some external application (one that will not neccessary run in wsad) to read the messages from the queue) ?
2) can i add message to a queue easily ?
- in the embedded - use for example the API exerciser to add messages to a queue ?
- again - write some external application to do that ?
You can't, to the best of my knowledge, talk to the embedded mq series in WAS with any MQSeries administration tools. You need a full license of MQSeries to do that.
I don't know about the internal JMS provider, but thought it actually used the embedded MQSeries anyway?
