hi guys,

i am getting a similar kind of issue as given above. as it was a very old post so i am posting my problem as a new question.......

i have created JDBC Provided written in the way "Creating a JDBC provider entry for an Oracle database" guided. and also Made a Database Definition from File>New>Definition and it was successfully tested. Also, i have added .dbm to my project so that my flows can refer to that definition. still.... i am not able to access this DB definition in Database Retrieve node. it never fill the Table Name dropdown list when i try to ADD Query Elements in the properties of DB Retrieve node.

i am using IIB v9 on windows7.

Please HELP!

i mean while making Database Definition through wizard it picks the connection which i made through "mqsicreateconfigurableservice" and when i gave UID and PWD it says connection successful. Also, i can see my tables/views/routines in Data Explorer too..

You'll get more help if you don't call us "geeks" and remember that people who participate here have day jobs & post as time permits & the charity of their hearts dictates.

And no, I can't help. The testing you've described sounds fine.

If you want better or faster help, you have the option of a PMR.

I am sory if you feel bad by any of my word.

I totally understand the people and their commitments who are participation here and on other professional forums. But i know there could be better ways to response.

Any ways thanks for your suggestion of PMR.
