Hi All,
I have a 3rd party URL https://host-name:111[11 ]/ but I am not able to setup the connectivity using telnet.
I am using telnet command like this:
telnet host-name 111
Please suggest whether I am missing anything? |

What my collegaues are trying to ask is...
Ok so you are testing the access to a remote WebService using Telnet.
However can you explain exactly what that has to do with any IBM Websphere Product.
If you can't access the URL then as has been suggested they may very well be one or more firewalls in the way. Your first port of call must be to YOUR network admins to see if this URL is blocked on the way out of YOUR companies network. Once that has been established as not being the case AND the problem still persists then YOUR network adminst should contact the remote system ADMINS and sort it out.
These are all pretty standard procedures for this sort of thing. There should be people at your site who know all this stuff. You just need to go and ask them for help. They are on the ground with access to the systems. We are not so any help you get from us is by this very nature very limited. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
