How in the world can I stop the BLOCKIP-50I and BLOCKIP-99I messages from flooding my CHIN as the clients connect/disconnect??????
I can find no reference on how to suppress or delete these messages in the BLOCKIP manual...

Modifying the CHISERVP parm removed the MQ generated messages, but I really would like to remove the corresponding BLOCKIP messages too.

I checked with operations and they tried to suppress them the same way they suppress messages from the syslog, but it didn't work...
My only other thought would be to have someone write a REXX script to either suppress those messages on the CHIN or to delete them as they are written...

You can use the quiet mode (-q;) in SCYDATA to keep BlockIP2 silent.

(Manual page 21)

We hope this can prevent BlockIP2 from flooding the CHIN log.
