Hi All,
We have been going through a systematic upgrade of key servers from V7.0.5.1 to V7.5.1 on AIX V6.1
The upgraded go well with no issues. CHLAUTH is set to DISABLED in initial installation.
What I have noticed twice on two separate upgrade is this:
- Upgrade performed with no issues
- CHLAUTH enabled and set to warning mode - Standard out of the box
- a refresh security is issued at some point
- numerous random queues will loose their original security settings, but they are always on put/inq or get/inq. The amount of queues and types seem to vary.
- have to re-issue original setauth commands to resolve
This has happened on two separate circumstances in out test environments. The next move is to PROD, but the customer is apprehensive with the recent behavior in the pas circumstances.
Oh in one case, CHLAUTH was never enabled, just a REFRESH SECURITY was issued after some new setauths were implemented.
Has anyone else seen/experienced this behavior? Is there a fix or recommendation?
