I have a weird problem where the application works super well but every now and then when the database goes down and comes back up again some of my flows with Compute node connecting to database stops processing.
Is this a normal behavior? I thought broker will automatically reconnect and everything works. To resolve this I have to restart the execution group and it start working again.
will it be different behavior if I use JDBC instate of ODBC?
I truly cannot quote any part of the documentation. But the behavior I see is I have 3 flows that connect to the database only one of them doesn't reconnect. The two that works is a select and update. The one that doesn't reconnect is the insert. dono if it makes any difference.

You might like to open a PMR, as IBM may help you achieve the end result you are looking for. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
