Hi Guys,
Does anybody have any idea regarding where the JIDA_Path has to be configured to message broker while configuring the OPNET monitoring tool.

I tried to configure mqsistartmsqflow script file with JIDA_Path, I had seen the data metrics for the first time once I had restarted the data metrics in the monitoring tool disappeared.

Can anybody help me out in fixing this.

Thank you

You need to put your OPNET jars into a /var/mqsi/shared-classes .

What metrics are you trying to measure ? WMB has in-built performance management and there's not alot that OPNET can do for you above that.

Why do you want to use OPNET ? What do you think OPNET gives you that the WMB stats don't ?

Opnet give graphical inferface for all JVMs.
we are old customer for opnet, currently we are using opnet tool for other applications. As a request from client to use opnet with MBK.
I am wondering that whether we can monitor MBK with opnet or not ?

I know MQ expoler can we more than opnet ? but how we can setup alerts to this MBK.

Opnet uses JMX to retrieve JVM information. See my post about how to enable JMX on WMB :

P. S. MBK is not a recognized product acronym. Do you mean WMB ?
