Calling web services from within a java node

Does anyone know if it is possible to call web services from within a java node ? I mean act as a web service client.

Any help, links etc much appreciated

It should be possible, yes. You'll need to make sure that the necessary classes are on the classpath of your broker when you deploy your node.

Or you can use the web services support in v5 - that should hopefully do what you want. If you can wait until you've migrated your environment, that is.
