Hi All. I have been informed by our customers they want to start looking at possibly using MQFTE . I have started to play with it myself today and working my way through the InfoCentre to just get a feel for it. Are you aware if there are any IBM Training Courses on this from an Administration persepctive? I can not find any when searching.
Thanks in advance |

There doesn't appear to be a course for this. If I get some bench time I'll convert my notes in to a how-to. |

Discovering the value of WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition – IBM
- This was a free one day TEC at Hursley - no idea when next scheduled. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

Speak to your IBM rep. They will be able to find this out for you. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

They can run it on demand. They ran it for me as a single attendee!
I hope FTE does catch on. It does need work on useability though - the MQ team tend to like using the command line, whereas a browser interface would be preferable.
The MQ explorer interface is OK up to a point but it can't do everything that is needed! I don't like the principle that FTE should be wrapped in Ant scripts - yes it's good to have that option, but hardly user-friendly. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it.
